Etgar Keret

Etgar Keret was born in Tel Aviv in 1967. He is undoubtedly the most popular author of the new generation. Critic Nissim Calderon wrote that Keret is "the Amos Oz of his generation." He teaches at the Film School of Tel Aviv University and has directed over 50 short films based on his stories. His book "Missing Kissinger" has been included among the most important Israeli books of all time and earned him the Grand State Prize for Literature. The translations of his books worldwide receive rave reviews.
