Eric Chaline

Eric Chaline is a graduate of the University of Cambridge and the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. He lived in Japan for seven years, where he studied Zen teachings. Currently, he is responsible for sociological research at the doctoral level at London South Bank University. He is the author of the book "History's Worst Inventions" and has also written other books, including "The Book of Gods and Goddesses: A Visual Dictionary of Ancient and Modern Deities" and "Traveller's Guide to the Ancient World: Ancient Greece."
