Eyi Vogiatzaki

Evi Vogiatzaki holds a PhD in Modern Greek, English, and Comparative Literature from the University of Warwick, England, and a Master's in Comparative Literature (Warwick). She studied Modern Greek Philology at the Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies of the School of Philosophy at the University of Crete, Political and Social Sciences at Panteion University, and Pedagogy at the Pedagogical Academy of Heraklion, Crete. She is the author of the book "The Body in the Text: James Joyce’s Ulysses and the Modern Greek Novel," published in the USA, Lanhma, Md: Lexington Books, 2002. She has published studies on European and Greek modernism, myth and fairy tales, Joyce, G. Seferis, G. N. Pentzikis, S. Xefloudas, G. Cheimonas, G. Delios, A. Giannopoulos, A. Kotzia, and G. Yiatromanolakis. She has taught Modern Greek Philology at the University of Patras (2003) and the University of Cyprus (2004).
