Eystratios Papanis
Eustratios Papanis was born in 1969 in Agiasos, Lesvos. He studied Psychology at the School of Philosophy in Athens and pursued a Master's degree (MSc) in Research Methodology at the University of Reading in the UK. He earned his PhD in Pedagogy from the University of Crete. Additionally, he completed studies in Journalism and holds a diploma in Systemic Family Therapy. He has taught at the Hellenic Police Officers Academy, the Departments of Preschool Education at the University of Thrace and Psychology at the University of Ioannina, the "Alexandros Delmouzos" Teachers' College, the P.E.K. of Lesvos, and the Postgraduate Sociology Program at the University of the Aegean. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of the Aegean, a researcher at the Educational Research Center, Chairman of the Scientific Committee for the KEKYKAMEA of Northern Aegean, Vice President of the Social Welfare Foundation "Theomitor," a board member of the Prevention Center against Addictions "Pnoi," and President of the "Friends of the Theomitor Foundation" Association. His research interests lie in the fields of Psychology, Pedagogy, Sociology, and Research Methodology, with a focus on the study of Internet Research Methodology and the theoretical and practical changes needed in traditional measurement tools to update them and incorporate new technological developments.
