
Laurent Gaudé
Laurent Gaudé was born in 1972. He has written several plays and two novels. His second novel, "The Death of King Tsongor," has been translated into many languages and has sold thousands of copies worldwide. For this book, Gaudé was awarded the Prix Goncourt des Lycéens in 2002 and the Booksellers' Prize in 2003. Additionally, his novel "The House of Scorta" earned him the prestigious Goncourt Prize in 2004, the most significant literary award in France.
