Ioannis G. Kourempeles

Ioannis Kourempeles studied Theology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and pursued postgraduate studies at the universities of Erlangen and Heidelberg in Germany. He is an associate professor in the Department of Theology, specializing in Dogmatic and Symbolic Theology. His books include "The Christology of Romanos the Melodist and its Soteriological Significance" (doctoral dissertation, 1998), "Ecumenical Examples in the History of the Church" (2002), "Neo-Chalcedonianism: A Dogmatic Point of Division?" (2003), "The Homily of Patriarch Proclus 'On the Holy Theotokos'," and "The Response of Nestorius" (2004), among others.
