Andreas Michailidis

Andreas Michailidis was born on May 7, 1982. He is a translator, author, and storyteller, having previously worked as a journalist and photographer. Over the years, he has written numerous articles about comics and their culture, starting with the magazine "9" of Eleftherotypia. He has translated popular science, history, and literature books from English and French, including "The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" by George R.R. Martin, "The Shattered Sea" series by Joe Abercrombie, and the "Young Sherlock Holmes" series by Andrew Lane. He has contributed crime short stories to anthologies such as "Eco-Crimes," "Dangerous Entrance," "Greek Crimes 4," and "Thieves and Policemen." In recent years, he has participated in comic festivals in Greece and abroad with self-published works, in collaboration with Valia Kapadai and Pavlos Pavlidis (Nekyia, Last Flight of the Swordbreaker, etc.). "The Singing Anvil" is his first book.
