Lampros S. Skartsis

Lambros Skartsis was born in Patras in 1964. He studied at the University of Patras, where he earned a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1987, and at Washington University in St. Louis, USA, where he obtained his Ph.D. in 1992. He has worked as a researcher in the USA, collaborating with companies such as McDonnell Douglas, Lockheed, and Monsanto, and as a Director of Production, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources in Greece. He has a significant number of publications and presentations at international conferences in fields including Materials Science, Human Resource Management, and Historical Research. His books and other publications on Greek industrial history, since 1994, have become key reference sources in many Greek and international media, while for decades he has maintained and continuously enriched a rare historical archive.
