
Cecelia Ahern
Cecelia Ahern was born in 1981 in Dublin. She is the daughter of former Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern. She studied Journalism and Media Communications at Griffith College Dublin and contributes to various magazines. Her first novel, titled "P.S. I Love You" (2004), topped the bestseller lists in Ireland, the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands and was among the best books by debut authors for that year. It was published in 22 countries worldwide and was adapted into a Hollywood film in 2007, starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler. Her next novel, "Where Rainbows End," achieved similar success. She also collaborated on the creation of the award-winning TV comedy series "Samantha Who?" and the TV movie "Three Wise Women," and adapted her novella "Mrs Whippy" for the stage. In 2008, Cecelia received the Best Newcomer Award at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. She lives in Dublin with her family.
