CHrysanthi Karaiskou

Chrysanthi Karaiskou was born and works in Evros. She graduated from the Department of Primary Education at the University of Ioannina. Since 2000, she has been involved in public education. She has a particular interest in the folk traditions of our region. Her work in schools in Chania and Evros inspired her to document traditional fairy tales and games from the areas where she taught, as well as from the rest of Greece. She has participated in theater education and environmental programs. She has published the following books: "Greek Traditional Fairy Tales Volumes A and B," "100 Traditional Games," "The Pleiades and the Morning Star," "The Beardless Man and the Dragon," "The Thirteenth," and "Lady Good and the Twelve Months," all published by Diaplasi Publications.
