Georgos Geroulanos

George Geroulanos was born on March 25, 1933, at the Trachones estate, in the community of Kalamaki, which is now the municipality of Alimos. Due to the difficult conditions of the War and the Occupation, his school years were spent in various schools, but he graduated from the I.M. Panagiotopoulos Gymnasium. He studied tourism economics at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland (Handels Hochschule-St. Gallen). He worked as a director at two hospitals in Athens and later at a large engineering firm. From a young age, he loved nature and life in the countryside, and he enjoyed exploring. He also loved all kinds of travel, an activity that continues to bring him great joy.
