Stamatis Kraounakis
Born in 1955, he studied music under Mrs. Klelia Terzaki and political science at Panteion University. By the end of the 1990s, he had composed music and songs for 34 albums and music for 50 theatrical productions. His collaboration with Lina Nikolakopoulou began with the album "Rusty Lips" (1981), featuring songs performed by Vicky Moscholiou, and continued from 1985 onwards with the album "I Circulate and Carry a Gun," with Alkistis Protopsalti, who became the primary performer of his songs. He also collaborated discographically with Tania Tsanaklidou on the album "Mama, I'm Growing Old," Kostas Makedonas, Fanis Mezinis, Dimitris Basis, and Dimitra Papiou on the soundtrack for the film "This Night Remains." In 1997, he took on the role of artistic director at the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Kavala. He returned to the music scene with the provocative album "Speranza" and staged a series of performances in music venues, the most recent being "All in Black and a Piano." His latest discographic works include "The Blues of the People" with Fanis Mezinis as the performer and songs for the TV series "Then Came the Bees," with Marinella as the main performer.
