Giorgos Melissaropoulos

George Melissaropoulos was born in 1981 in Patras. In 1998, he was awarded in the nationwide cartoon competition 'Carnival 98'. He studied animation and illustration in London and has been working professionally in the comics industry since 2003. He created the comic "Agriades" (published by Enati Diastasi, 2017) and the comic series "TEZA" (published by Jemma Press, 2003-2013), which he adapted into an animated series for comedylab.gr in 2016. His graphic novel, "Gods in Crisis," has been published in English (Amazon Kindle, 2015), French (published by M’edite, 2015), Greek (published by Webcomics, 2016), and Turkish (published by Gurer Yayιnlarι, 2017). In 2006, he founded the award-winning creative studio Animatic Vision, through which he has published the magazines E-Sense, Mosquito, Happy Revolver, and the webcomic Paper World. He has collaborated with major publishing houses and animation production companies in Europe and America. He works as an illustrator, comic artist, and animator.
