
Patricia A. McKillip
Patricia A. McKillip was born in 1948 in Oregon, USA. She studied at San Jose State University in California, where she graduated in 1973 with a master's degree in English language and literature. She is considered one of the most popular authors in the fantasy literature genre. Among her works are "The Book of Atrix Wolfe," "Winter Rose," and "Song for the Basilisk." In 1975, she was awarded the World Fantasy Award for her work "The Forgotten Beasts of Eld." Her now-classic trilogy "The Riddle-Master" was originally published as follows: "The Riddle-Master of Hed" (1976), "Heir of Sea and Fire" (1977), "Harpist in the Wind" (1979).
