Pantelis Kapsis
Born over 60 years ago in Athens, he developed a love for sports from a young age, which remained a daily pursuit until university. After that, he got involved in the usual activities: political youth groups, smoking, and late nights. He took a significant break during which he became a journalist, following a family tradition spanning three generations. He worked in almost every type of reporting, moved through radio and television, but was primarily a newspaper person, eventually directing "TA NEA" and later "TO VIMA." After closing his first journalistic chapter, he briefly entered politics, initially as the government spokesperson for Loukas Papademos and later in the Samaras-Venizelos government, where he was responsible for the ultimately unsuccessful attempt to restructure ERT with respect for its journalistic independence. Today, he is a commentator on SKAI television, writes about political matters, and is an amateur runner. He runs himself and writes for Athens Voice and longrun.mediaglobe.gr, the website he created. His performances are quite average, but his love and enjoyment are immense.
