Thomas Hylland Eriksen

Thomas Eriksen is a professor of anthropology at the Centre for Technology, Innovation, and Culture at the University of Oslo. He has also taught at the universities of Amsterdam, Ljubljana, and Sussex. He has authored numerous books on anthropological issues, including "Languages at the Margins of Modernity" (Oslo, PRIO 1991), "Ethnicity and Nationalism" (London, Pluto Press 2002), "A History of Anthropology" (London, Pluto Press 2001), and "Small Places, Large Issues" (London, Pluto Press 2001).
