Richard Wiseman

Dr. Richard Wiseman began his career as an award-winning professional magician and was one of the youngest members of the renowned Magic Circle. A psychology graduate from University College London, he completed his Ph.D. at the University of Edinburgh and received the Perrott-Warrick Scholarship from Trinity College, Cambridge. Today, he leads a research team based in the psychology department at the University of Hertfordshire, investigating topics related to the psychology of ghosts and miracles, magic, deception, and intuition. Dr. Wiseman's research findings have been published in numerous scientific journals, including "Nature," "Science," and the "Psychological Bulletin." He has also presented his findings at many conferences. He has appeared in hundreds of radio and television programs, and articles about his research have been published in the "Times," the "Daily Telegraph," and the "Guardian."
