Konstantinos Mpouras

Dr. Konstantinos Bouras was born in 1962 in Kalamata and has lived in Athens since 1977. He is the author of 40 published books, a theater critic, and a book reviewer. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (1985), graduated with honors from the Department of Theater Studies at the University of Athens (1994), and obtained a postgraduate degree in Theater Studies from the French University Paris III - La Nouvelle Sorbonne (D.E.A. Etudes Theatrales, 1998). He earned his doctorate with honors from the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation, and Interpreting at the Ionian University in Corfu (2019). His plays, often centered on ancient Greek themes, have been performed in theaters in Greece and abroad. He contributes articles to newspapers and magazines and participates in television programs about books and theater. He is conducting postdoctoral research at the Department of Theater Studies at the University of Athens, focusing on "The Dramatic Element of Contemporary Greek Poetry in the Years of the Crisis (2008-2018)." www.konstantinosbouras.gr
