Sarah Hall
Sarah Hall was born in Cumbria, northern England, in 1974. She currently lives and works in North Carolina. Her debut novel, "Haweswater," was published in 2002 and won the "Commonwealth Writer's Prize" for Best First Book, the "Betty Trask Award," and the "Lakeland Book of the Year" for Arts and Culture the following year, with "The Times" calling it a remarkable debut. Her second novel was "The Electric Michelangelo," published in 2004.
