Janet Beavin Bavelas

Janet Beavin Bavelas is a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Victoria. Her research interests focus on the unique characteristics of language in "face-to-face" dialogue and the "micro-social" collaborative aspects of dialogue. She is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and the International Communication Association.
