Joseph Delaney

Joseph Delaney lives in Lancashire with his wife and has three children and four grandchildren. His home is located in an area inhabited by boggarts, and his village has a boggart known as the "House Destroyer," which was buried to rest beneath the step of a house near the church. Believe it or not, the haunted house in "The Spook's Apprentice" is based on true events! As a child, Joseph lived in a similar house in Preston, where he experienced a recurring nightmare. In this dream, he would sit on a rug in the front room while his mother knitted. Suddenly, everything would freeze, and a shadow-like figure would emerge from the coal cellar, lift him up, and take him down into the darkness. Most chilling of all, his siblings had the same nightmare! The house has since been demolished, so he can no longer visit it.
