Dimitris CH. Fafoutis

Dimitris Ch. Fafoutis was born in 1947. He spent his childhood in Mendenitsa, Lamia. He completed high school in Lamia, where he made his first appearance in the Lamia Press. He studied Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), a profession he currently practices at the Aluminum Production Plant in Aspra Spitia, Boeotia. His poems have been published from time to time in the press and in magazines such as "Nea Estia," "Thessaliki Estia," "Pnevmatiki Roumeli," "Iolkos," "Erevna," among others. He has published six poetry collections and two books of essays. He is a co-founder and long-time director of the literary magazine Embolimon. He is a founding member of the Fthiotida Literary and Writers' Club and a member of the Hellenic Authors' Society.
