
CHaritini Xydi
Charitini Xydi was born in Volos and resides in Athens. She studied history and archaeology. She made her literary debut with the novel "C-Minor - A Heretical Romance" (Iolkos 2005). In December 2007, three of her poems, included in the collection "Dreams Smoke," received an honorable mention from the European Writers' Union at the 8th Thessaloniki Poetry Festival. In the same year, she was awarded the first prize by the Panhellenic Union of Writers for the novella "Irma of the Demons" (unpublished). In January 2008, she received a first honorable mention from the European Writers' Union at the 9th Panhellenic Poetry Festival in Thessaloniki.
Her poems have been published in the newspaper "O Dromos," in literary magazines such as "I Lexi," "Sodeia," "Trifylliaki Estia," and in online magazines like "Logotechniko Bistro," "e-poema," "24 Grammata," and have occasionally been featured on selected websites.
