Eleni Argesti

Eleni Argesti was born and raised in Piraeus. Her family hails from Asia Minor. She worked as an employee at the Ministry of Finance. During the dictatorship, she was dismissed due to her political beliefs. She made her literary debut in 1965 and has since published eight poetry collections and two short story collections. Her work has been enthusiastically praised by Yiannis Skarimpas, Giorgos Valetas, and others.
