Kostas G. Papageorgiou

Kostas G. Papageorgiou was born in Damaskinia Voio, Kozani. He studied at the Pedagogical Academy of Thessaloniki and the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Thessaloniki. He joined the National Liberation Front (EAM) and was appointed by the Political Committee of National Liberation as Secretary of People's Education in Free Greece. Initially, he worked as a teacher and professor in public education, and later founded his own private educational institutions (Elementary, Middle, High School, and Technical Schools). In 1981, he was elected as a Member of Parliament for Kozani with the PASOK party.
