CHristos Markidis

Christos Markidis was born in Drama in 1954. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts from 1974 to 1979. Subsequently, he lived and worked for a period in Paris. To date, he has showcased his work in twelve solo exhibitions and participated in over fifty group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. In addition, his books have been published: "Monozygo: Four Sketches" (poetry), Diaton 1999 (not for sale), "Eos" (poetry), Diaton 2001 (not for sale), "Horses in the Dark Water" (poetry), Phoenix Editions, 2003 (not for sale), "Amoen" (poetry), Erifyli 2004 (not for sale), "Seven Texts on Art" (essays), Phoenix Editions, 2002, "Face to Face" (essays), Gavriilidis, 2005, "Cinnabar" (poetry), Agra, 2009.
