Klimis Mastoridis

Klemes Mastoridis is the only Greek to hold a PhD in Typography and Graphic Communication from the Department of Typography & Graphic Communication at the University of Reading in England. He is a Fellow of the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) and the Institute of Paper, Printing & Publishing (IP3), and the visionary behind the "International Conference on Typography and Visual Communication" (ICTVC). In addition to "Themes," he has authored the book "Casting the Greek Newspaper" (ELIA, 1999) and since 1998, he has been publishing and editing the academic journal Hyphen, a platform for typography. In Cyprus, he teaches typography and graphic communication and serves as the Head of the Department of Design and Multimedia at the University of Nicosia.
