CHaralampos Giannakopoulos

Charalampos Giannakopoulos was born in Athens in January 1971. He studied at the School of Philosophy at the University of Athens (in the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology) and works as a philologist in Secondary Education. He has also been involved for two years in the organization and operation of School Libraries. After spending several years in the Greek provinces, he returned to Athens, where he now lives and works. In addition to poetry and translations, he regularly publishes articles and essays on literature and the art of reading. He has been a contributor to the magazine Propaganda, as well as to the Center for Creation and the website Happy Few (www.happyfew.gr), where he has published, among other things, studies on Nikolas Calas, Andreas Embirikos, Ilias Petropoulos, Ilias Laios, as well as translations of poems by Charles Bukowski.
