Tasos Paylopoulos

Tasos Pavlopoulos was born in Athens in 1955, where he currently lives and works. He studied graphic design and painting (1978-83) at the legendary Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he was taught by artists such as Henryk Tomaszewski and Teresa Pagowska. He was a scholarship recipient from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) from 1987 to 1990. In 1996, he created one of the twelve sculptures in the "Art Clock Towers" series commissioned by Swatch for the Atlanta Olympic Games. He has held numerous solo exhibitions and participated in dozens of group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. In addition to his exhibitions, Tasos Pavlopoulos has published six art books since 1992, and his works are included in many public and private collections in Greece and internationally
