Jean Shinoda Bolen

H. Jean Shinoda Bolen is a Jungian analyst, professor of clinical psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco, author of numerous books, and a board member of the Foundation for Women. She is also an honorary lifetime member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She teaches and conducts seminars in San Francisco and across the United States. She is married to James Bolen, editor of the magazine New Realities, to which she also contributes. They have two children and reside in Mill Valley, California.
