Tony DiTerlizzi

Tony DiTerlizzi, a bestselling author according to The New York Times, is the creator of the acclaimed "Jimmy Zangwow's Out-of-this-World Moon Pie Adventure" and has illustrated the "Alien and Possum" book series by Tony Johnston, aimed at young beginner readers. Recently, he received the Caldecott Honor for his brilliant illustrations of Mary Howitt's classic poem "The Spider and the Fly." Additionally, Tony's work has adorned the creations of renowned names in the fantasy literature world, such as J.R.R. Tolkien, Anne McCaffrey, Peter S. Beagle, and Greg Bear, as well as many of the cards for the famous role-playing game "Magic: The Gathering" by Wizards of the Coast. He and his wife Angela reside with their mastiff, Goblin, in Amherst, Massachusetts.
