Giannis Kritsantonis

Giannis Kritsantonis has been serving the field of journalism since 1965. Born in Athens, he studied Economics and Journalism in Munich, where he also worked in television and radio. A student of Nikos Tsiforos, Nikos Kampanis, Dimitris Pournaras, and later Alexandros Filippopoulos, he worked for several Athenian newspapers and magazines until 1988. He served as the news editor for ERT until 2002, while also producing a wealth of documentaries and social research. As a newspaper and television reporter, he experienced, documented, and reported on numerous major events that shook the world during the 1980s.
