Vasilis K. Dalkavoukis

Vasilis K. Dalkavoukis was born in Ioannina. He studied History at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He completed his doctoral dissertation in the Department of Modern and Contemporary History and Folklore, focusing his research on Zagori (2001). He has published the book "Migrations of Zagorians (1750-1922): Approaches to the Adaptation Processes of a Local Society in Historical Context" (Rizarios School Publications, 1999), and since December 2004, he has been elected as a lecturer in the Department of History and Ethnology at the Democritus University of Thrace.
