Charles Nicholl

Charles Nicholl has published a significant number of biographies, travel, and historical books. He was awarded the James Tait Black Prize for his biography of Christopher Marlowe, and his work on Arthur Rimbaud in Africa earned him the Hawthornden Prize. He has presented two documentaries for British television and has lectured in England, Italy, and the United States. He lives in Italy with his wife and children.
