Tina Vlastarakou - Metaxa

Tina (Stamatina) Vlastarakou-Metaxa was born in Athens in 1965. She studied at the Marasleio Pedagogical Academy and attended art seminars with the professor and sculptor Faethon Gryparis, serving as his assistant during the year 1987. She also participated in theatrical play seminars with Lakis Kourentzis. She served in the Greek public school system for thirty consecutive years. In 2006, with her book "A Grandfather, Four Children, Twelve Grandchildren," she presented the concept of time, seasons, and months, as well as the customary practices that accompany life in Greece, in the form of a fairy tale. In 2017, her book "George's Easter" was published by Thyra Editions.
