Dimitris Martos

Dimitris Martos studied Architecture in Florence and Urban Planning in Rome. He lives and works in Veria as an Architectural Engineer. His writing primarily focuses on the phenomenon of the expansion of the Greek capital and its impacts on the economic, social, and cultural structure and development of Greek society. Through his study on the mechanisms of the emergence, selection, and establishment of Athens as the capital of the Greek state and as the new political, geographical, and ideological center of Hellenism, he was awarded a doctorate from the School of Architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
