Eya Stefani

Eva Stefaní was born in 1964. She studied political science at the University of Athens and film at Ecole Varan in Paris, New York University (M.A. in Cinema Studies), and the National Film and Television School in Britain, where she specialized in documentary directing. In 1997, she completed her doctoral dissertation at Panteion University in the Department of Communication and Mass Media. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Theatre Studies at the University of Athens and a director of several documentary films, including "Athinai" (1995), "Letters from Albatross" (1995), "Visits to the House of E. Ch. Gonatas" (1998), "Acropolis" (2001), "Abraham and Jacob" (2002), "The Box" (2004), "The Permit," "Roommates," "What Time Is It?" (2007), among others. "Finn's Hair" (Polis, 2014) is her first literary book.
