Vlassis Trechlis

Vlassis Trechlis was born in Aigio, where he still resides, to a father who was a refugee. He studied movement and music and was fortunate to have excellent teachers: Polyxeni Matteu and Maria Kinigou - Flamboura. Over the years, he discovered a fascination with language and literature and pursued both out of love. In the realm of literature, he was mentored by Takis Sinopoulos. He lives in a provincial town, choosing to overlook its flaws for the sake of all the good it offers: the ability to still hear nightingales at night, to play his favorite Manos Hadjidakis songs loudly on his record player in the middle of the day, to read the verses of Andreas Kalvos in the shade of the vine, and to let his thoughts travel to the places where Kalvos once lived and walked.
