Maria Kitra

Maria Kitra was born in Athens. Fluent in two foreign languages (English and Italian), she has a deep love for literature, both foreign and Greek. She has been an active copywriter and humorist for the literary column of a well-known magazine. A versatile and bold personality, she has engaged in a variety of professions (in a notary office, as a volunteer with a five-year commitment in the Greek Army, in private education, etc.), but has dedicated most of her professional life to children. Married and a mother of two, she has worked with great enthusiasm as an educator in creative workshops, as an animator and entertainer for toddlers in daycare centers and children's events, and continues to teach visual play and theater education to elementary school children. She has written novels, original children's fairy tales, poems, and plays for both young and adult audiences.
