
Aikaterini Douka - Kampitoglou
Aikaterini Douka-Kampitoglou is an emeritus professor at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She studied English Language and Literature at Aristotle University and pursued postgraduate studies at the Universities of Leeds and Reading in the UK. She taught English and Comparative Literature in the English Department at Aristotle University. Her scholarly work includes, among other books, "Plato and the English Romantics": Dialogues (London and New York: Routledge, 1990), as well as edited volumes and publications in Greece and abroad, primarily on topics related to poetry and the poetics of Romanticism, philosophy, Greek literature, literary theory, and cultural studies. She has served as the Chair of the English Department, Dean of the School of Philosophy, and Vice-Rector of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
