Richard Fletcher

Richard Fletcher is a professor of history at the University of York (England). He is the author of the books: "The Cross and the Crescent," "Moorish Spain," and "The Quest for El Cid," for which he won the Wolfson History Prize and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for History. He is also the author of the monumental book "The Conversion of Europe: From Paganism to Christianity 371-1386 AD."
