Francine Prose

Renowned author Francine Prose (1947-) has written numerous books, including "The Lives of Muses," "Bigfoot Dreams," "Household Saints," and "Guided Tours of Hell." Her articles have been published in The New Yorker, Atlantic Monthly, and Paris Review. She also collaborates with Harper's and regularly writes about art for the Wall Street Journal. In addition to being an author, Francine Prose is a visiting professor of literature. Her books have been nominated for major American awards, and some have been adapted into films or musicals for the theater. She is a member of the American PEN Center, where she has served as president, promoting literature, freedom of expression, and international relations among writers. She resides in New York City.
