THanos Mplounas

Thanos Blounas, former special advisor at the Pedagogical Institute, was born in 1943 in Phthiotis, where he grew up. He studied pedagogy, child psychology, and the sociology of education in Greece, Scotland, and Germany, and worked in various public educational institutions and services both in Greece and abroad. As part of his professional duties, he authored several language teaching books for elementary students, published by OEDB. He is also the author of three children's books distributed by the Ministry of Education to school libraries, as well as the book "At the Turn of the Dream," which includes three novellas and was published in 2006 by M. Sideris Publishing. His poetry collection for children, "Things and Wonders," was honored in 2005 with a commendation from the Women's Literary Society.
