Stefanos Papadopoulos

Stefanos Papadopoulos was born in North Carolina in 1976 and grew up in Paris and Athens. He has published three poetry collections: "Lost Days," "Hotel-Dieu," and "The Black Sea," and is the editor and translator (along with Katerina Anghelaki-Rooke) of the collection "Poems of Derek Walcott" into Greek. In 2010, he was awarded the Civitella Ranieri Fellowship for "The Black Sea," and in 2014, he received the Jeannette Haien Ballard Award, for which he was selected by Mark Strand.
