Tzoulia Fortouni

Julia Fortouni was born in 1964 in Sarakina, Trikala. She studied law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her postgraduate studies at the University of Athens in the field of "Educational Utilization of New Technologies." She lives in Athens, where she worked as a teacher and educator trainer in primary education until her retirement in 2015. Her poems and writings have been published in the newspaper "Avgi" and the magazines "Emvolimon" and "Figos," as well as in various online magazines and anthologies. She has published two poetry collections: "Natural Antidote" (2013) and "Sample of Writing" (2015), both by Mandragoras Publications. "The Boziaras" is her first collection of short stories.
