Popi Diakainisaki

Popi Diakainisaki was born in 1956 in Smari, a village in Heraklion, Crete. She completed her primary and secondary education in Kastelli Pediadas, where she spent her childhood and teenage years. She studied Graphic Arts in England until the end of 1981. Until 1996, she worked in advertising as a freelancer. Since then, she has been writing and illustrating children's books.
