Stayros N. CHristodoulakis

Stavros Christodoulakis was born on January 25, 1967, in Athens. He graduated from the Arsakeio Pedagogical Academy of Psychiko in 1987. After fulfilling his military service, he began his teaching career in Primary Education. From 2002 to 2005, he pursued further studies at the Didaskaleio of Patras, specializing in Intercultural Education. In 2005, he obtained his degree from the Department of Social Theology at the University of Athens, and he is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Ioannina. For years, the author of this book has been contributing articles to both scientific and general-interest magazines that focus on education, ancient Greek thought, folklore traditions of various regions, and martial arts. Since 1999, he has been a permanent contributor to the Hellenocentric scientific magazine Aeropos. In 2008, he took on the editorial responsibilities for the magazine Hellenic Education, and in 2009, he edited the book "Atikon Ydor" published by N. & S. Batsioulas. In 2010, he edited the scientific work "A Georgian Pilgrim in the Byzantine World of the 9th Century: Saint Hilarion the Georgian (doctoral dissertation)" by the same publishers. In 2002, he published his first book titled "Nuggets of Gold: Aphoristic Sayings of Ancient Greek Authors" through Georgiadis Publications, which saw a second edition in 2003 by the same publishers. In 2006, he published the book "TAE KWON DO: Contribution to the Martial Art of Tae Kwon Do: Approaches and Dimensions" through N. & S. Batsioulas Publications (Logosophia). In 2008, he published the historical monograph "Minoan Crete: The Ancient Civilization of the Greek Island" through ALS S.A. Publications and the book "Gerapetros: Beliefs and Myths, Contribution to Folklore, Local History, and Education" through N. & S. Batsioulas Publications. In 2009, from the same publishers, he released the book "The Life of Jesus: The Life of Jesus through Unpublished Photographic Material from the Holy Monasteries and Sketes of Mount Athos" and from IAMBOS Publications, he published "Cretan Antinades: The Way of Thinking and Living of the Inhabitants of the Island through their Mantinades." In 2010, he published "Ancient Greek: An Introduction to the Ancient Greek Language" through N. & S. Batsioulas Publications, in 2011, he released "Charms: Folk Healing of Crete" from the same publishers, and in 2012, he published "Theoharis Mich. Provatakis: His Life, Cultural Work, and Contribution to Hellenism and Orthodoxy" through Momentum Publications.
