Kostis Stamatopoulos

Kostis Stamatopoulos was born in Athens in 1965. He began his engagement with nature and group activities as a student at the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (Department of Medical Laboratories). After completing his studies, he pursued a career in organizing outdoor recreational programs. He became a Mountaineering School Instructor, certified by the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering Clubs, and obtained a River Guide Diploma from AN Rafting (France). He started working with experiential educational programs in 1996. He trained as a Facilitator at Outward Bound (United Kingdom) and as a Ropes Courses Instructor at Ropes Course Development (United Kingdom). Subsequently, he worked as a business consultant, earned a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Kingston University (Athens), and trained as a Facilitator with Project Adventure (USA). Today, he serves as the Training & Development Manager at Summit Exploring. He designs and implements experiential training and development programs for executives and employees in Greek and multinational companies. He has organized programs for numerous companies. During the summers, he organizes experiential programs for the children at the Agricultural Bank's camps. In his free time, he enjoys mountaineering, endurance running, mountain biking, and photography.
