Jan Traeger - Synodinou

Jan Traeger - Synodinou
H Jan is an Associate Professor of Genetics at the University of Athens. She was born and raised in London. It was there, during family meals featuring the well-known roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, liver pâté, and fish cakes, that she began to appreciate good food. Her interest in cooking soared when, as a student at the University of Reading, she had the opportunity to try recipes from the international student community. Together with her husband, Dimitris, and other friends like Iain, she often organized large meals where everyone contributed typical dishes from their country. During her visits to her husband's homeland, Kefalonia, she discovered the warm Greek hospitality and the island's exceptional culinary quality. She lives in Athens with Dimitris and their three children.
