Nikos Koufakis

Nikos Koufakis was born in 1972 in Athens and grew up in Crete. He studied Business Administration in Chios (University of the Aegean). He also graduated from the Postgraduate Program in History & Philosophy of Science and Technology (Department of M.I.TH.E.). He has worked as a translator and journalist. His essays, book reviews, travel writings, and short stories have been published in both electronic and print media (To Dentro, (de)kata, Nea Estia, I Avgi, Ethnos, Poiein, Bonsai Stories, Nea Efthyni). He has published the short story collection "Family Porcelain" (Kedros, 2014), which was shortlisted for the "Reader's Literary Awards 2015" in the Emerging Prose Writers category. "Family Porcelain" was honored with the 2015 Short Story Award from the Kostas & Eleni Ourani Foundation of the Academy of Athens. He is the founder and editor of LOGGIA publications.
